The DCF400A Modular Ice Flaker is the perfect unit when it comes to selecting a modular ice flaker. The DCF400A uses the latest technology to produce flakes of ice that measure roughly between 1.5mm to 3mm thick at sub zero temperatures of -5C to -10C.
Flaked ice is benefitial due to the fact that its small in size and has the quickest cooling rate out of any ice cubes available. This is what makes it suitable for commercial use in establishments in the food industry, transporting products, medical applications and packaging operations.
The unit is manufactured with a food-safe stainless steel that strengths the unit while also making it more hygienic than any other material due to it not rusting after being used consistently for a longe period of time. This also makes it easy to maintain and clean down.
