Delivery Details :
We offer free delivery on all commercial refrigeration & catering equipment orders over £200 + VAT to mainland U.K. A delivery surcharge will also apply to some areas in Northern Scotland, Northern & Southern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight; For deliveries into Europe please call one of our advisors.
Most orders are dispatched from stock with a lead time of 1-5 working days. Fabrications will be dispatched 7 to 10 working days from order as they are made on order. Free Next Day Delivery can be arranged on around half our products. For next day delivery, orders must be placed and full payment cleared between 10am and 12pm dependant on manufacturer / Product. We cannot offer next day deliveries for orders placed over the weekend or bank holidays. All next day deliveries are subject to stock.
All deliveries are made to the nearest access point at the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. The majority of deliveries will be made by luton van or lorry. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a vehicle weight or width limit please inform us at the time of order, charges will be incurred for an aborted delivery. Deliveries will be made between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm. We are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are at the couriers discretion, however, an indication of AM or PM delivery is generally offered.
If the driver arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there you will be liable for the re-delivery charge.
Every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect condition. Please inspect your goods immediately on delivery as no claims with regard to damaged items can be made after our driver has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged on delivery.
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking trades for installations until goods have been received.
Warranties, Return Policy & Cancellations :
7.1 We warrant that on delivery the Goods shall:
a) conform with their description; and
b) be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship
7.2 Subject to the Terms of this section 7 if:
a) you give us notice in writing within 5 Business Days of discovery that some or all of the Goods do not comply with the warranty set out in clause 7.1;
b) we are given a reasonable opportunity of examining such Goods; and
c) you (if we ask you to do so) return such Goods to our place of business at your cost
we shall, at our option, repair or replace the defective Goods, or refund the price of the defective Goods in full.
7.3 Goods shall be supplied with their manufacturer’s or distributor’s standard parts only warranty unless otherwise specified in your Order. Additional warranties may be available from the manufacturer or distributor at an additional cost which will be added to your Order if you have chosen such additional warranty. All manufacturer’s and distributor’s warranties shall be governed by the manufacturer’s and distributor’s own terms and conditions.
7.4 When signing for deliveries you must state clearly on the delivery note any damage or shortages.
7.5 Non-delivery must be notified in writing to us and to the carrier within 3 Business Days of the despatch date on the advice note or invoice.
7.6 You must provide all information and assistance required by us to investigate any suspected defect and, if required, permit us to inspect the Goods concerned at any premises where the same are located.
7.7 We reserve the right for Goods returned which are over 28 days old from the date of purchase to be replaced with a refurbished or repaired product.
7.8 These Terms apply to any repaired or replacement Goods supplied by us.
7.9 Goods are not sold on a trial basis. You should check the specifications and suitability of the Goods before ordering. We do not warrant the suitability of the Goods for specific applications and it is your responsibility to assess this.
7.10 Goods which have been incorrectly ordered will only be accepted for return with our prior approval and subject to the payment by you of return carriage costs and any charge in accordance with Term 7.12
7.11 Returned Goods will only be accepted if they are: in the same condition as when they were delivered and they are correctly packed in the original packaging with the manuals, returned with the necessary proof of delivery and purchase, and have not been used.
7.12 We reserve the right to make a restocking charge of 25% of the value of the Goods. Such a charge may be made where we incurs the same charge from our suppliers.
7.13 If you cancel the Order whilst the Goods are still in transit, an abortive delivery charge will be incurred by you.
7.14 Goods may not be returned without a Goods Return Authorisation Number which can be obtained from us by contacting our Sales Desk on 0845 6800695.
7.15 Any Goods that are not normally held in stock will be ordered on your behalf from the manufacturer or other supplier. Such items cannot be returned if the customer decides that it is no longer required.
7.16 We shall not be liable for Goods' failure to comply with the warranty set out in clause 7.1 in any of the following events:
a) you make any further use of such Goods after giving notice in accordance with clause 7.2;
b) the defect arises because you have failed to follow our (or that of the manufacturer or distributor) oral or written instructions as to the storage, commissioning, installation, use and maintenance of the Goods or (if there are none) good trade practice regarding the same;
c) the defect arises as a result of us following any drawing, design or specification supplied by you;
d) you alter or repair such Goods without our written consent;
e) the defect arises as a result of fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or abnormal storage or working conditions; or
f) the Goods differ from their description or specification as a result of changes made to ensure they comply with applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.
