The Whirlpool K40 Ice machine is a best-selling ice production system. It comes with a fully automatic operation which enables it to produce clean and solid ice for commercial use. This ice maker has been designed to use less energy which in turn allows you to fully benefit from it without necessarily incurring hefty energy bills.
This unit comes with a stainless steel finish which is important in the preservation of its integrity. Your machine will be in constant contact with water and so durable materials can help prevent rust from occurring. It supports a front ventilation system to provide the optimum circulation and a production capacity of up to 40kgs of ice per 24 hours; more than ample to meet business demands.
Whirlpool K40 ice machines have a 20Kg polypropylene storage bin for your ice. This provides you with a clean and safe place to store any excess so that cubes are always on hand whenever they’re needed. Each cycle runs for approximately 17 minutes.

➕Parts Only Warranty
A 'Parts only' warranty covers the cost of replacement for any mechanical components which fail (due to manufacturer fault) within the warranty period, causing breakdown or compromised performance.
➕Parts and Labour Warranty (Full Warranty)
A 'Parts & Labour' or 'full' warranty means that should any mechanical components fail (due to manufacturer fault) causing break down or performance issues with your equipment, within the term of the warranty, the cost of replacement parts will be covered by the manufacturer. Any engineer charges incurred through a site visit, diagnosis and replacement of malfunctioning parts will also be covered.

In the event of a fault occurring equipment will need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. This is typically arranged by the manufacturer however the customer will be responsible for ensuring equipment is appropriately packaged and protected. Equipment, once repaired, is sent back to the customer at the manufacturer’s expense.
➕Semi-Commercial Warranty
Typically applicable to smaller catering equipment, a semi-commercial warranty is designed for light duty use only in semi-commercial settings. If fault occurs due to overuse or misuse in high production areas, repair costs will not be covered by the warranty.
➕Edge Chip Warranty
Applicable to crockery items, edge chip warranties cover edge chipping occurring under normal food service conditions including storage, service, washing and refrigeration. Damage due to misuse or the dropping of items will not be covered.
