The DC70-40A Self Contained Classic Ice Maker is the perfect choice when choosing an ice maker for a commercial business. The ice that is produced is done so by using the latest spray technology that forces the ice to be able to last longer and cool down quicker for items such as drinks. This is because water is sprayed in to the ice moulds while being frozen at sub zero temperatures. As the ice cubes start to freeze and change from liquid to solid, water is constantly sprayed over to add several layers which icrease the ice cubes longevity.
This specific model is created with a catering grade stainless steel. This is perfect for this unit due to the fact that this will not allow the machine to rust over longer periods of time being in use. Along with this, the stainless steel is easy to maintain and allows for this to be cleaned and kept hygienic. The interior contains a storage bin that allows for the ice to be stored in the machine and is created using a non-toxic antibacterial plastic that acts as a barrier to protect the ice cubes from bacteria. It also acts as a layer of insulation to trap the sub zero temperatures inside while not allowing the heat from the exterior to pentrate through and melt the ice.
