Annual running cost*
More info
The cost of equipment doesn't end after you've made a purchase. This handy energy use calculator aims to give you an estimate of what you can expect to pay in ongoing running costs based on the kWh/annum provided by the manufacturer.
This calculator is populated with the kWh/annum for this product as supplied by the manufacturer. The calculator shows the estimated running cost of this piece of equipment based on the kWh/annum and the average energy costs. This calculation is based on the average UK restaurant by default.
The kWh/annum can be changed manually if required. The price per kWh can also be changed to reflect your local rate and give a more personalised figure.
For an annual kWh consumption of and price per kWh of the equipment would cost £ per year.
We have also calculated the cost using average UK business type's rates.
| Business | Avg. Price per kWh | Annual Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant | £ | |
| Hotel | £ | |
| Cafe | £ | |
| Home Bar | £ |

The Polar G379 refrigerated prep counter is a state of the art creation that is designed to fit right into your commercial kitchen. It is built by combining two services, a durable food preparation surface and a reliable refrigerator, to provide you with more chances to perfect your business.
The unit has solid hinged doors which give you easy access to the large capacity refrigerated section of the counter. This section keeps your food items well preserved for as long as you want, close to hand at the point of preparation.
It has a fully automatic operation which supports a forced air circulation system. This ensures that even distribution of cool air within the counter is continuously achieved. These temperatures may cause accumulated frost; this is prevented through an automatic defrost system. You will also be able to program defrost intervals for maximum effect.
The unit has user-friendly controls which give you absolute control over your prep counter. A Dixell thermostatic controller enables you to actively monitor and adjust the temperatures accordingly.
This refrigerated prep counter from Polar has shelves included to help you properly utilise the provided usable capacity. It is CFC free making it safe for handling your food items and is built on front braked castors to help with the easy and safe movement of the unit.
