Annual running cost*
More info
The cost of equipment doesn't end after you've made a purchase. This handy energy use calculator aims to give you an estimate of what you can expect to pay in ongoing running costs based on the kWh/annum provided by the manufacturer.
This calculator is populated with the kWh/annum for this product as supplied by the manufacturer. The calculator shows the estimated running cost of this piece of equipment based on the kWh/annum and the average energy costs. This calculation is based on the average UK restaurant by default.
The kWh/annum can be changed manually if required. The price per kWh can also be changed to reflect your local rate and give a more personalised figure.
For an annual kWh consumption of and price per kWh of the equipment would cost £ per year.
We have also calculated the cost using average UK business type's rates.
| Business | Avg. Price per kWh | Annual Cost |

If you are looking for a prep counter for your commercial kitchen, then look no further than the SNC2 two door snack counter from Blizzard. It delivers ample surface area on which to prepare food for your customers while at the same time providing you with refrigeration services. This saves valuable space, especially in a compact commercial kitchen and provides you with excellent services throughout the year.
The SNC2 comes with a stainless steel construction on both the outside and the inside. The worktop is also built using stainless steel. Such a construction is ideal for your kitchen equipment because it is durable and does not damage easily, especially from constant use. Also, stainless steel is easy to clean thus saving you time and resource in your kitchen.
The unit comes with 2 solid hinged doors. The doors have a self-closing and dwell feature. The self-closing ensures that the door automatically closes during busy services when repeated access is needed thus helping keep energy consumption lower. The dwell position helps keep the door open during loading and cleaning of your prep counter.
This chiller and prep counter also comes with a ventilated cooling system which evenly distributes cool air within the fridge section. The temperatures provided in this section range from 2°C to 8°C. You will benefit from a Dixell Blue Line controller to monitor and adjust the temperatures provided. This intelligent thermostat uses algorithms to minimise the amount of start-ups the compressor needs to make to achieve optimum performance.
Additionally, the unit uses an automatic defrost system to prevent the accumulation of frosted ice within the chiller. This leaves enough space for the placement of your merchandise and keeps the unit efficient at all times. Replaceable door gaskets help seal the unit once the doors are closed. They are easily removable and replaceable for easy yet effective maintenance. Inside, the internal corners are rounded to prevent the accumulation of dirt and make it easy for you to clean and observe strict levels of hygeine.
Using a gross volume of 214 litres, you will have more than enough space to store a considerable amount of food items. The Blizzard SNC2 refrigerated prep counter also comes with a 24 months parts and labour warranty as standard.
