The DCG150-40A Self Contained Granular Ice Maker is suitable for commercial use within establishments ranging from bars and night clubs, to supermarkets. This is due to the fact that this unit produces granular ice. This specific type of ice has many qualities that suit these industries such as they are chewable and easy to measure when putting them in drinks along with the fact that it can be easily moulded and allow products to be placed on them that need to be kept cool.
Granular ice is produced in this machine due to the latest technology. This consists of a cylindrical evaporator forcing the already frozen ice cubes up and using an archimedeac screw to eject the granulated ice from the bottom of the unit.
The unit has a grade catering stainless steel that is perfect due to the fact that no rust will be on the unit after long periods of usage. The added benefit of this material is that it is very hygienic and easy to clean with ease. The storage bin inside that stores all the ice is produced using a non-toxic antibacterial that protects the ice inside. It also gives a layer of insulation which allows the inside to remain at sub zero temperatures. All of these materials comply with the Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
