Italian brand, Ugolini was born from a refrigeration repairman named Mario Ugolini. After working in the general refrigeration market the entrepreneur saw a gap that he could fill and made his move to designer, developer and manufacturer. Following the successful and well received presentation of his own chilled drinks dispenser to emulate machines that he had seen in America, the Ugolini brand was born. Developing and growing the business over the coming years, Ugolini took his product to other countries including China and America and to the Moscow Olympics whilst continually fine-tuning designs, technology and specifications. In 1997 the brand introduced a magnetic transmission to their granita machines, a feature that once again set Ugolini equipment apart from the rest of the market.
