Rapid and safe frying with catering fryers

Fast food establishments fry a wide variety of their merchandise and require it to be done quickly and safely. Catering equipment suppliers offer a wide range of commercial fryers for this exact purpose and there are many options to choose from.

Fryers work by heating tanks of oil which food is then lowered in to and heated at very high temperatures. There are two main power supplies which can be used for these machines and both will have their own advantages. Electric for example, have a quicker recovery time than their gas counterparts which means that you do not have to wait as long for the oil to reheat between batches of food.

Obviously with the oil being heated to such high temperatures in busy kitchens there need to be strict safety measures in order to avoid accidents. The majority of new models will have high temperature safety cut outs and locking baskets to aid in this endeavour.
