Definitions Of Warranties:
Parts Only Warranty (No Labour)
A “parts only” warranty covers any removable or mechanical part/s of your product which are within the term of the warranty period. Should any part/s of the product malfunction and be deemed unfit for use by an engineer, we will arrange for the part or parts in question to be sent to the original delivery address of the product, free of charge, however it is essential that the diagnosis and subsequent replacement and repair of the product is carried by a qualified engineer. We can arrange for a trustworthy and competent engineer to visit you’re premises however, any costs incurred by an engineers visit, diagnosis and replacement of malfunctioning parts will be payable by the customer. In some cases it will be necessary to send the malfunctioning part/s back to the manufacturer or distributor. A parts only warranty does not covers factors out of control of the manufacturer or distributor i.e. poor installation, mis-use and so on.
Parts & Labour or Full Warranty
A “Parts & Labour” or “Full” warranty covers any removable or mechanical part/s or your product whilst within the term of the warranty period AND any engineers charges incurred through site visit, diagnosis and replacement of malfunctioning parts. Should any part/s of the product malfunction and be deemed unfit for use by an engineer, we will arrange for the part/s in question to be sent to the original delivery address of the product free of charge and an engineer will be supplied to replace the part/s in question, also free of charge. a full warranty guarantees that if a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. A full warranty does not covers factors out of control of the manufacturer or distributor i.e. poor installation, miss-use, natural wear and tear etc.
Back to Base Warranty
A “back to base” warranty is often used on smaller pieces of equipment that can be harder to diagnose and repair on site. Should the product malfunction whilst within the term of the warranty period, the product will be collected from the original delivery address, taken back to base and tested. If the product is deemed to be covered under the warranty and not subject to miss-use the product will generally be replaced and delivered back to the original delivery address.
