Dishwashers are fast becoming one of the most useful appliances in the kitchen. We do, after all, spend on average 500 hours per year washing dishes!

Once seen as a item of luxury, dishwashers today are more likely to be seen as a necessity, particulary for the busy professional. Dishwashers are the perfect way to save time and effort in the kitchen, after cooking a meal for your family, the last thing you want to do is spend ages washing up, especially when a dish washer only takes a few minutes to load.

Dishwashers against popular belief, are also energy efficient. An average dishwasher uses between 10 - 15 litres of water per load compared to anywhere between 100 - 150 litres typically used when washing up by hand. An 'A' rated energy efficient dishwasher can cut water consumption by up to 80% compared to hand washing in an average household, according to a leading home appliance manufacturer.
