Exhaust Hoods

Exhaust Hoods, otherwise known as extractor hoods, are essential for removing unwanted fumes and vapours from a kitchen or commercial environment. There are two main types of exhaust hood; ducted and ductless. Ducted exhaust hoods vent the fumes and vapours to a place outside of the area, whereas a ductless exhuast hood cleans the air and pumps it back into the environment. If the exhaust hood is situated in a kitchen or other hygene important area, a ducted exhaust hood is more suitable as it removes contaminates from the area rather than pumping them back into the air.
